Shannon McDonough, MBA, CFP® is primarily responsible for client day to day financial planning, which includes being available to assist clients in navigating complex financial decisions. She assists the Principal in financial planning and portfolio management of all account types in addition to performing client account reviews. She is in charge of data gathering and internal portfolio analysis. She specializes in assisting clients in navigating equity compensation plans, forward looking tax strategies, investment plans and retirement income plans.

Prior to joining the McDonough Capital Team, Shannon worked at a software company as both an Analyst and as a Project Manager. Shannon graduated from the Crummer Graduate School of Business MBA program in 2019. Prior to her MBA she attended Rollin’s College, earning a degree in both Economics and Spanish, all while earning a 4 year starting MVP position on the volleyball team.

Shannon maintains her CFP® certification, SIE, Series 65, Series 7, Series 63, and Florida 2-15 Life, Health and Variable Annuity license. She is also a notary public for the state of Florida. She resides in the Audubon Park area with her husband Alex, and their dog and cat.
